Theresa focuses her practice on insurance defense, products liability, professional liability, railroad, and appellate litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Theresa clerked in the Staff Attorney’s Office at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  As a Staff Attorney, she recommended dispositions to the judges of the Second Circuit on motions and appeals concerning civil rights, criminal law and procedure, employment discrimination, appellate procedure and jurisdiction, bankruptcy, and habeas corpus.  Previously, Theresa had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Paul I. Marx in New York Supreme Court, Westchester County.

Theresa attended Syracuse University College of Law where she acted as Form & Accuracy Editor for the Syracuse Law Review.  While in law school, Theresa worked as an extern for the Honorable Glenn T. Suddaby in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and as a student law clerk at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  She also participated in Syracuse University’s Community Development Law Clinic, where she helped local groups form corporations and obtain not-for-profit tax-exempt status.
