Abbey represents clients in a variety of civil matters in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, toxic torts, and railroad and bus litigation.
Prior to joining LCBF, Abbey was a Staff Attorney for the D.C. Bar, Board on Professional Responsibility, where she worked on attorney discipline cases.
Abbey received her J.D., with a Concentration in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During her time in law school, Abbey was the Managing Editor of the UIC Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Honor’s Council, a teaching assistant for an Appellate Advocacy writing seminar, and an extern at the Chicago Legal Clinic. Abbey also clerked at several law firms throughout law school, working in commercial litigation, insurance, and personal injury.
Abbey graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in criminal justice and a minor in political science.
