Janelle has earned a reputation among her clients and colleagues for being thorough, well-prepared, creative, and driven towards reasonable case resolution and, where that is not possible, aggressively litigating cases to Trial. Janelle has a decade of experience handling a diverse portfolio of civil litigation cases venued in federal and state courts located in New Jersey and New York, focusing on mass torts, products liability, professional liability, municipal litigation, and general litigation. In her practice, Janelle represents a variety of clients from large corporations to individuals, providing all clients the same dedicated focus. Her clients include, manufacturers, public entities, religious organizations, medical professionals, medical device companies, and distributors.   

Janelle is valued by clients for her solution-oriented approach to all aspects of complex litigation and the manner in which she earns respect among colleagues, adversaries, and jurists.

Janelle has substantial experience in the management of high volume and complex litigation matters. Janelle managed a toxic tort account, where she was responsible for coordinating the defense of approximately 500 regional cases in state and federal courts and was involved in the development and implementation of national settlement and trial strategy.  Janelle currently acts as national coordinating counsel overseeing the court ordered dispute resolution process of thousands of abuse claims across the nation. In these roles she has consistently developed novel processes for efficient case management, effectively reducing settlement values and defense costs.

Prior to joining LCBF, Janelle gained experience representing public school districts as general counsel and in litigation defense, contract disputes, labor and employment litigation, professional ethics disputes, and civil rights/disability discrimination litigation. In this position, Janelle litigated diverse cases through trial and arbitration, and negotiated the resolution of multi-facetted collective bargaining disputes.

Janelle clerked for the Honorable Camille M. Kenny, J.S.C. Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, Civil Division.

Janelle graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law with a Concentration in Health Law. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Mark Falk, U.S.M.J. and the Honorable Claire C. Cecchi, U.S.D.J., United States District Court, Dist.
