Clients frequently ask John to step in at the last minute to try a case, or assist attorneys in jurisdictions throughout the country in developing and implementing trial strategy. In addition to trying well over 100 matters to verdict, John, a founding member of the firm, has represented clients at arbitrations and mediations. John also has assisted clients in developing and implementing national strategies for defending toxic torts and occupational injuries, such as cumulative trauma disorders.
John has been litigating a wide range of matters for over 25 years. He has represented clients in various jurisdictions, on both the state and federal level, in cases involving toxic torts, railroad litigation, mass torts, professional liability, products liability, construction accidents, and commercial disputes.
John has obtained defense verdicts in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont at trials in cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries resulting from, among other things, allegedly defective products, construction accidents, and exposures to toxic materials, including asbestos, solvents, and second-hand smoke. John has spoken on substantive issues as well as trial practice at public conferences and national client meetings.

John began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s office.
