Patrick represents clients in a variety of matters in the State and Federal courts of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. He focuses his practice on claims brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, railroad and bus litigation, commercial vehicle liability, premises liability, commercial litigation and general insurance defense.
Patrick received his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in criminal justice from Temple University and graduated magna cum laude from Widener University Law School. While in law school, Patrick was a senior staff member for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and worked as a law clerk for a large civil litigation firm in Center City Philadelphia.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was a plaintiff’s lawyer for nine years. He represented plaintiffs in personal injury and professional liability matters, with an emphasis on prosecuting legal malpractice claims. Patrick handled cases from the initial pleadings stage through trial preparation and gained extensive experience representing clients at arbitrations and bench trials. Patrick also wrote and lectured on topics including professional liability avoidance, and other matters.
Patrick’s experience representing plaintiffs gives him a unique perspective in analyzing and assessing issues necessary for the successful defense of the firm’s clients.
