Andrew J. Nees represents clients in New Jersey in a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction Litigation, and transportation-related disputes involving rail and bus carriers.

Before joining LCBF, Andrew gained valuable experience in Construction Litigation, Trial Advocacy, and General Civil Litigation matters at Nagel Rice LLP, where he worked as an associate. Prior to that, Andrew clerked for the Hon. Joshua D. Sanders, J.S.C., within the Superior Court of New Jersey from 2022 until 2023.  While clerking for Judge Sanders, Andrew successfully mediated a multitude of cases in the Special Civil and Landlord Tennant Dockets. He also assisted in the drafting of bench memoranda and opinions concerning the application of Restraining Orders while managing the Court’s busy docket.

Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School, where he was a Student Body Association 3L Senator, a member of the Mock Trial Board, and a student attorney with the Social Justice Clinic. As part of the Mock Trial Board, Andrew competed in multiple interscholastic mock trial competitions. With the Social Justic Clinic, Andrew advocated for his clients in Landlord Tenant and Restraining Order matters. He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University, Tempe, graduating summa cum laude.

In his free time, Andrew volunteers as a coach with the Seton Hall Law School Interscholastic Mock Trial Board and serves on the Board of the Optimum Health Institute of San Diego, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
