Based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, Yuri is experienced in all phases of civil litigation, including administrative proceedings, discovery and depositions, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial and appeal. He has counseled clients in a variety of cases pending in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including personal injury, Federal Employers’ Liability Act, employment discrimination, toxic tort, premises liability and products liability. Yuri joined LCBF in 2001 after having served as law clerk for the now-retired president judge of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas, Hon. Robert A. Freedberg. His Pennsylvania roots include seven years in college and law school in State College and Carlisle, and judicial clerkships in two additional Courts of Common Pleas while attending law school. He is dedicated to comprehensive but efficient case resolution, and seeks to minimize or eliminate his clients’ exposure. He works closely with railroads, employers, insurers and insureds in early development of the facts, including accident investigation and witness interviews, in order to promptly craft defense strategies.
