Jolanis represents clients throughout New Jersey. Her practice focuses on general litigation, construction and transportation.
Prior to joining the firm, Jolanis served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Douglas H. Hurd, P.J. Civ. in Mercer County. While clerking, Jolanis drafted opinions on various civil matters. She also served as a mediator for small claims matters in the Special Civil section.
Jolanis received her J.D. from Rutgers University Law School in Newark, NJ. While in law school, Jolanis served as the Assistant Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing and Research course for first-year students. She also worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Kathryn Sabbeth, focusing on issues related to access to justice. In addition, Jolanis gained hands-on experience as a Legal Assistant at LGR Law, LLC, where she developed skills in legal research, writing, and client preparation.
Prior to law school, Jolanis graduated from Syracuse University with a double major in Bachelor of Arts in Music and Political Science.
