Matt represents clients in New York in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including transportation, personal injury, employment, and professional liability litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Robert R. Reed of the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division, where he assisted in discovery conferences and writing judicial opinions in a wide variety of commercial matters, including contract disputes, fraud, and shareholder disputes involving various Fortune 500 companies.
Matt received his law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he was Co-President of the Northwestern Chapter of ACLU, Vice President of Equity and Inclusion of the American Constitution Society, and Notes and Comments Editor and Executive Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. While in law school, he externed for the Honorable Mary M. Rowland of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to law school, he started and ran an award-winning education business in Atlanta, Georgia and worked as a business immigration paralegal.
