Rachel is a creative and pragmatic litigator representing clients in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Clients seek Rachel’s guidance from pre-litigation investigations through appeal, relying on her thorough, solutions-driven approach to litigation and her careful attention to detail.
Since joining LCBF, her practice has focused on litigating issues affecting railroads, including commercial disputes, general negligence and property damage claims, and claims under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. She also represents professionals in malpractice claims and municipal clients in civil rights and general litigation.
Rachel’s agile and flexible approach to developing litigation strategy often leads her clients to favorable results early in litigation. She commonly secures dismissals at the pleading stage and on summary judgment and has successfully obtained orders positioning her clients with significant leverage before trial through creative motion practice.
Prior to joining LCBF, Rachel clerked for the Hon. Vicki A. Citrino, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County. Rachel graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During law school, she interned for the Hon. Jose L. Linares, U.S.D.J. (Ret.) and the Hon. Leda Dunn Wettre, U.S.M.J.
