Charles is a zealous, yet practical, litigator whose defense practice – from inception through trial - focuses on commercial litigation, cyber liability litigation, professional liability, and transportation law.

Recently, Charles acted as lead trial counsel defending national clients in high-exposure cases in both the state and federal courts of New Jersey.   He also practices regularly in the state and federal courts of New York and Connecticut.

Charles has been selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star for 2016-2022.  Super Lawyers is published by Thomson Reuters. A description of their selection methodology can be found here. No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Charles is a member of the firm’s cyber liability practice group, and has published and presented on the topic of Cyber Liability Litigation and Counseling.

Prior to joining LCBF, Charles’s practice focused on the defense of healthcare professionals and nursing homes against malpractice claims. He began his career as law clerk to the Hon. Alvaro L. Iglesias, J.S.C, Law Division, Civil Part in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage.
