Joe represents clients throughout New York in state and federal courts. His practice focuses on trial advocacy and litigation related to employment, professional liability, transportation, and toxic torts.

Prior to joining LCBF, Joe was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County. He handled cases from inception to plea or trial. He handled a large felony caseload, ranging from assaults, firearm possession, and attempted murders. He has tried both bench and jury trials and has presented numerous cases to the grand jury. Joe volunteered as a mentor for the Youth Trial Advocacy Program offered by the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. He also volunteered training summer interns and first year Assistants.

Joe received his law degree from Boston College Law School, cum laude, where Joe was a student attorney (S.J.C. Rule 3:03) with the criminal defense clinic, BC Defenders. He represented indigent clients in district court in Boston and inmates in prison disciplinary hearings. Joe was a public interest fellow and received the Pro Bono Excellence Award for completing over 100 pro bono hours. He was a member of the Academic Standards Committee and national Mock Trial team. While in law school, Joe also interned with the Manhattan DA’s Office and the US Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia.
