Matt handles a wide range of matters in the New Jersey and New York courts. His practice centers on defending clients facing claims involving the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, common carrier litigation, toxic torts, personal injury, and general litigation.

A summa cum laude, graduate of Rutgers University – Newark, Matt received his J.D. from Seton Hall University, School of Law. While in law school, he was a full-time law intern with the Law Department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where he assisted agency attorneys in motion practice, trial preparation and appellate advocacy. During his time with the Port Authority, Matt regularly appeared on behalf of agency attorneys for court proceedings under student practice orders in New Jersey and New York courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt was Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Lisa Perez Friscia, J.S.C, where he regularly observed trials and court proceedings, wrote bench memoranda and drafted decisions for a wide variety of legal matters for the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage.
